The art of divination is perhaps one of humankind’s earliest engagements with the sacred. Our ancient ancestors were acute observers of the world around them, as their lives depended on this skill. Their observations led to the recognition of patterns and the relationships those patterns had with various phenomena. Over many generations, certain family lines proved to couple this gift for acute observation with strong intuitive aptitude, and it was these individuals who began to develop the sacred art of divination which found expression in a wide variety of systems.
While systems such as the Tarot, the I-Ching, and the Runes are perhaps best known in modern western culture, there are many other systems that rely on specific symbol sets linked to particular meanings. Among the nomadic people of Mongolia, sheep ankle bones are thrown in a system called Shagai, while the ancient Romans looked to flocks of birds for omens. Many of these divinatory systems are accessible to the average person, but their objectivity and accuracy may be questionable.
As a professional diviner, I have undergone in-depth training in order to act as a skilled bridge between you, as the client/inquirer, and your Holy Powers, thus offering deeper insights about the concerns you bring. Rather than interpreting the cards or runes simplistically based on a “How To” book, I considers the meanings of the particular symbols before me, but also look at how these interrelate, revealing blocks, resources and actions impacting you, my client. I have also been trained in how to divine ethically. For example, I can read on the energies surrounding your marriage, but not on whether your husband is specifically cheating on you. Readings are always totally confidential. It is also not necessary for you to follow any particular belief system or faith practice to benefit from divination.
My goal is to obtain actionable guidance for you, insights that help you to recognize resources, strengths and blocks that may be creating issues for you. I will never tell you what to do, but rather, will explore with you the dynamic factors shaping your life and what your options are.
